Brake maintenance blocks - the "Uniblock"
Brake maintenance blocks - the "Uniblock"

DetailOne brake block to do all the maintenance tasks on a brake disc caliper. Bleed and piston exposure all wrapped up into one versatile tool. Loads from the top of the caliper and keeps itself in place - no need for the pad retainer pin unless you flip the caliper upside down. This makes service faster and easier. For bleeding, leave the filler block in place. For piston exposure, flip out the filler, put the block into the caliper, and pump the brake until the piston stops against the step. The filler block is tethered to the main block so you don't have to worry about losing it.
My original brake blocks have been a very popular addition to many mechanic's toolboxes, allowing quick and easy brake bleeding and piston exposure for mobilizing and cleaning. The only issue was you needed a block for each use case. A bleed block, and a piston exposure block. With four piston blocks, there was the addition of a third - there was the 4x2 block and the 4x1 block to expose either two pistons at a time (for well maintained brakes during service) or one at a time. (to re-mobilize a single sticky piston)
These Uniblocks fix that, with all of the functions combined into one compact block. The piston exposure capability is there, and it can be quickly converted to a bleed block by popping in the magnetic filler blocks. This will make storage of the blocks simpler, and finding the right block is just a matter of grabbing the one with the right color coding. The bleed fillers are connected to the main block by a flexible leash.

ORANGE - SRAM 4 piston Guide/G2/Level brakes
YELLOW - SRAM 4 piston Code/Motive/DB8
GREEN - SRAM 2 piston road and MTB
BLUE - Shimano MTB 4 piston calipers that take the D, H, or N pads
PURPLE - Shimano road and newer MTB 2 piston calipers that take the K or L pads
NEON GREEN - Hope V4
NEON GREEN - Hope E4/RX4+ - with a black stripe
GREY - TRP DH 4 piston brakes that take Shimano 4 piston pads
PINK - Magura 4p (split pad caliper)
PINK - Magura 2p
Compatibility:
* Campagnolo Ekar works with the purple Shimano K/L block
Unfortunately, I can't help you if you've got SRAM Maven brakes. They're built extra burly which means no top entry for the pads or the brake block, and I wasn't able to come up with a piston exposure block that worked well for all four pistons. Sorry, Maven owners! -
